Who says alcohol always leads to bad decisions?
Dating felt like guessing.
We wanted something better.
One summer, I went online hoping to find a friend—and unexpectedly found my best friend. As we talked, we kept returning to the same frustration: modern dating profiles tell you plenty about how someone looks, but very little about who they are.
Too often, the values, patterns, and red flags that matter only appear after you have invested your time and emotions. After a couple of tequila shots and a lot of brainstorming, I said what I had wished for in my own relationships: “I wish you could scan a person and understand them before you decide to invest.”
That thought became the seed of 2DME. Three years of research, setbacks, tears, persistence, and extraordinary support from friends and family turned it into something real.
Why the name 2DME?
A two-dimensional code. A more dimensional view of me.
A QR code is a two-dimensional image. When someone scans your 2DME code, it opens a snapshot of you—your personality, values, patterns, and priorities. That is the idea behind the name: 2D, for the code you scan, and ME, for the person it helps you understand.
